I’m very upset

Chemical Burn from Cruisers

We recently switched our 17 month old into Pampers Cruisers (we bought 3 large boxes) and turns out they have given her a chemical burn on her buttocks. I have been researching the internet and found that we are not the only ones with this problem.

Not even do you give a refund but what about our Babies---MINE SCREAMED for 4 Days every time I changed him!!!!!!

  • I work have worked day care for five years and have an infant of my own. I have lots of experience with different diapers and brands and in my opinion I don't think it's the diapers that are the issue. I think it's an allergic reaction.
I have has several babies and toddlers that had the same reaction and were bleeding from OTHER brands of diapers. I've had lots of experience with pampers and prefer then on my infant.. Including the cruisers. I have about a dozen babies and toddlers that use the cruisers and have been for a while with no issue.

  • I’m Disgusted, these are babies
Rashes and hives can follow from allergies. Blisters, burns and bleeding come from chemical exposure. My Pediatrician mirrored my comments when my baby tried USA Pampers.

He was a Pampers baby overseas but in the country we were in NO harsh CHEMICALS can be added to Any Baby Product or even any food Products for adults or babies.

Cigarettes overseas were also without chemicals they add here. I quit smoking when I tried cigarettes here for the first time last year and felt like I had smoked glue.

Too many babies have been burnt by these diapers. The company will deny fault to
keep from lawsuit but if they cared and stopped they wouldn't have to worry about legal action. Denial and continuing so other babies can be injured is horrid.

Furthermore, if this were an ALLERGY and all these babies had hives or breathing issues in mass Proportion whatever being added would STILL Need to be removed.
Babies with other major illness can die from an immunization attack...which is what happens every time your body is exposed to an allergen. Your immunity decreases.

Immunity is what keeps us from dying from the flu. After 12 Days my baby still had these marks. He has two Permanent scars on his buttocks, about a year later.

I find it sad that the company is trying to say its "allergies" such a shame... even after sooo many people are all of a sudden having the SAME EXACT THING HAPPEN... obviously, it is not a problem with the children, but with the product. & for the company to ignore such a thing and write it off so passively is terrible. Shame On You Pampers

  • I’m pissed.
I just switched my 9 month old from swaddlers to cruisers and not even a month after having him in them hes getting red bumps and and a horrible rash around his boy parts. he's had a diaper rash before from teething and what have you, but nothing like this. It's a shame a "trusted" company denies these allegations to simply save their pocket books from getting smaller. This is ridiculous. Pampers has most definitely lost a customer.

  • It is sad. My baby was a pampers baby overseas and he was screaming 4 days here. He is so adorable. To see him cry breaks your heart. This is my little angel, but I feel bad for every baby and I cant believe our society has been lowered to this. We have lost almost every virtue that we gained in the USA.

It wasn't so long ago that we made the child labor laws to protect children, but if nothing is done about this, it really shows how disgusting this whole country as a whole has become.

  • My son also, I thought he got a bad rash from a changing table but now I see we're not the only ones with this issue. We won't be buying those anymore.

  • This still bothers me!! I don't care... Say what you want about pampers. I'll be a proud supporter until my baby is potty trained. I hate how this is getting twisted.
Even of it is a chemical issue it's probably a chemical reaction to something your child is eating or drinking . It's not the diapers. I promise it's not the diapers.
I understand the safety of YOUR child is the most important thing. If your child has a reaction fine. Drop it. That's YOUR child with a reaction. Don't turn everyone against a good company because of it.
Just because I'm allergic to peanut butter doesn't mean im going to bash the peanut butter companies.
Don't believe everything you rea on the Internet.

  • I’m sick of doing research for lazy folks that just talk about feelings instead of facts
My son ONLY got this from pampers. It is a chemical issue. Its their new ..dry max..technology..which contains the chemicals. At least one class action suit was already filed and won. Overturned at the higher judicial level. A settlement was still given. As well the Federal safety agency is taking ongoing reports.

Everything you said is not researched nor does it make sense. If the government was giving a flu vaccine that helped 1 billion babies but 1 million died from it..YES I would charge them and sue them.

If you knew anything about allergies, you would know that in any place where peanuts are being handled and airborne contamination can occur..they put WARNINGS on the label. There are NO WARNINGS on these diapers. In fact, when I called, I was told the burn was not from the Diapers, that they were safe.

Do you also know you don't have to SEE a reaction for an allergy to damage your child...A lot of allergic kids and adults don't show visible signs, so your child may not get visible reaction to pnuts..maybe he is getting sick more than other kids with colds, flu etc. Allergies affect human immunology. That is our defense system that
makes the difference whether we die from a common cold or not.

  • Margarita, first apply this..

    http://www.walmart.com/ip/Solarcaine-...

Its a antiseptic pain reliever, then put some antibiotic cream that doesn't have irritants in it like perfume.

You can get both at Walmart. Dont know how old your baby is, can give some Baby Tylenol drops or if old enough Baby Advil drops
